Peacock is the national bird of India. The peacock is one of the most beautiful
bird. It is found in all over India. peacocks are bright greenish blue in
colour. White coloured peacock is very nice to look at. It has a long beautiful
neck. Peacock has bright tails which are very beautiful. It has very colourful
feathers. The feathers are violet in coloure and have a eye liked shape . In
rainy season the peacocks spread its feather and begin to dance. Then it looks
very beautiful. Peacocks eat grains, fruits and snakes, lizards, Scorpions and
other insects. It is a great enemy of snakes. wherever it sees the snakes it
kills them. It can fly but not heavy distance. Peacock is a part of Indian
history and culture.
