There are six months in West Bengal. Rainy season comes after summer season. It begins in the month of June and continuous in the middle of September. This season is also called "monsoon ".ln this season the sky becomes Cloudy. The sky is covered by the cloud and raining continuously. People feel very hot in summer season. In rainy season the rain showers Much comfort to humans and animals. The rain cools down the Earth and the temperature rapidly drop making the weather extremely pleasing. There is more greenery around us. During the monsoon season optimal rainfall is vital for crop cultivations.kids like this season very much. They play a lot in rainwater. Little boys make paper boat and float it in the rain water. They enjoyed the work very much. we get some fruits like guava, Lichi pomegranate in this season. These are very good for health. These fruits increase our immune system. we can protect easily from virus, infections. After scorching heat of Sun people get great relief in rainy season. The wind blows away dusts from the roads and they look neat and clean. Rainy season helps us in many ways but there are some disadvantages also occurred in rainy season.Excessive rainfall causing flood. Pond, lakes, narrow lanes are full of water. people face lot of problems. In village roads become muddy and causes inconvenience for public. Many diseases played in flood area like influenza,Cholera,maleria, dengu etc. Government and many relief camps take many good steps for the affected areas. Though rainy season has many disadvantages generally we considered this season as a friend of farmer. Rainy season plays an important role in cultivation of West Bengal.
