Holi is a famous festival all over India. people enjoy this festival very much. Every year Holi comes in Spring season. It is the festival of colours. According to Bengali calendar this festival falls on the full moon day of Falgun month. "Holika dahan" is done in the evening of full moon day where is a piece of wood is burnt on the ground and women sing traditional songs. Next morning children and adults play with colours among Each Other. small children feel balloons by water colour and throw on each other. sweets are distributed by people in the festival. People enjoy this festival by singing, dancing and eating delicious food. People forget old sorrow and enemity in this occasion. It is the symbol of Brotherhood and friendship. This festival is the victory of good over evil. After Holi everybody start waiting for next year Holi celebration.
